Music. Cars. Ken.
Ken Eldridge was born in Kentucky, graduated from Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois, and went on to study Psychology at College of Lake County. Ken first got into operations management through truck driving and warehouse management as he only continued to grow his career from there. He has been around operations and transportation since the early 90s, but his passion for the industry of cars and music has always exemplified his day to day life. Owning a 1971 Cadillac DeVille was the best car he ever had.
Ken joined Maxxsonics in June of 2008 and has been here now for 11 years (also when he joined the industry of consumer electronics). His main day-to-day role, in being an Operations Manager, is to assist and manage the flow of products and information to where it needs to go. One of the things Ken loves most about working at Maxxsonics is that it has a family feel. Maxxsonics is small enough to where anyone can react quickly to evolving business needs (in quick order) compared to a larger corporate order structure.
Ken’s Best Piece of Gear
My surround sound system with an MB Quart Woofer, now disconnected because it’s too loud. It makes the whole house shake when watching movies.
Ken’s Dream Concert
It couldn’t be just one; it would have to be a festival of some sort like Summerfest with a lineup of all my favorites – including AC/DC, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani and Stevie Ray Vaughan – playing at one place. Just walking through Summerfest and hearing all the crowd roars to all of my bands playing at once would be amazing.
